Trying to locate the crank shaft sensor on a 2002 Suzuki XL-7 Where is it located?

located on the front / lower engine section by the crank pulley. You can identify it pretty easily if you have the new part in hand to compare it too.

Im trying to find the location of the crank shaft position sensor for a 2002 ford taurus. Im wanting to replace it myslef.

Hi you will find the crank shaft sensor on the passenger side of the engine on the back side right behind the harmonic balancer.
If you remove the front tire and the plastic splash shield you will be able to locate it easier. Hope this helped happy motoring

Car cranks but won't start. Diagnostic code says

I changed all the parts I mentioned and finally I decided to try the crank shaft sensor and if that didn't work I was going to replace the cam shaft sensor. Luckily the crank shaft sensor worked but only after I replaced all the other parts. But at least now it finally started.

Thsank you.
