First thing to check would be the serpentine belt..if its worn it could be slipping and not fully charging the battery. Next i would take both the cables off and clean up the connections with a wire brush to insure good contact then after running the car around town awhile stop and check with a voltmeter and measure the battery.. if its good it will read 12.5v anything lower than this makes the battery suspect and if the battery is over three years old and reading low voltage it is bad and will need to be replaced.you can also check to see if your cars alternator is charging the battery...turn on and you clips to hold in place the meter to the battery and then raise the idle to about 2000 to 3000 rpm and watch the voltage it will rise up quickly to maybe from 13.5 to 14.5 volts then will be regulated down to about 13volts. the charging system is working. your battery probably has a cell going bad or the electrolyte is low and the battery should be serviced to proper levels. i hope this has helped can i get a rating thanks!

It depends on the state of your battery, Your Blazer uses around 1mA of power for the computer and radio memory in 12 hrs. So a good battery should hold enough charge for 60-90 days.

Not a fuse. There is no fuse for the level sensor. These are known for fuel level sensors being bad.Sometimes they will leave a code and sometimes not.You can check codes and see if you have a fuel level sensor code. The other thing you can do is check the connections and make sure they are clean and on securely. If you find that the level sensor is bad. Then it is easier to replace if the fuel in the tank is as low as possible for easier removal of the fuel tank.Hope this helps.Good luck.

1992 Eldorado, 135,000 miles, new battery won't hold dribble charge. So I topped off the charge with 50 amps until I saw 13+ volt reading on the interior display. Then turned the key and starter finally...

you need more than voltage from the battery, the other is amps. you may have a problem with the the alternator that it is not working (charging) or the internal voltage regualor is shot. what does the "driver information center (DIC) say? without more information, I can't give direction to what probably may be try jump starting the car from another car or battery.... good luck!.

2000 beetle battery can't hold charge

i think you should take the car to a local parts house and have them to test the charging system . If the voltage regulator has stuck it could be pulling a constant draw on your battery also check at night to make sure that none of your lights are on sometimes the light switches can go bad and cause this to happen such as hood or trunk.Hope this has helped you out some!!
