You know you should have it scanned for codes.

Try disconnecting the MAF while engine is running and see if there is any change. If it does change e.g rough idle, lower idle speed, missing then your MAF is working and isn't your problem.

Beeping noise, jerking, and then shuts off

if the beeping is coming from under the dash panel it may be the main fuel pump relay also I would check all the battery and engine grounds

Code number P1494 keeps coming on what is it?

Fisrt, make sure your gas cap is tight. You can get a code with a loose gas cap. Tighten it, disconnect/reconnect batery, and then wait a few trips to see if the code clears.

If its not that, you may have a leak in your system.

The check engine light comes on and it will not accelerate. it will idle but when you give it gas it falters. if i shut the engine off and restart it it runs fine.

Sounds like TPS (throttle position sensor) it's not putting out a signal, when you step on the gas, it opens the throttle body, but the TPS isn't sensing this

Starts good when cool come to a stop step on gas and start jerking and shut off when warm

could be a bad fuel filter. Cheap fix about $10 and easy to. Follow the fuel line from your tank to your engine. Usually about middle of car.

No power on key

There's a gas module located above the spare tire . This is famous for shorting out causing the problems I described and blowing a fuse in the panel, the fuse number is f43 which causes the vehicle to shut down, Hope this helps someone else. Thanks

Loss of power at 2400 rpm's

Check your mass airflow meter. If it's bad, at least on my 1990 300ZX, the car won't rev over 2400RPM (it's a safeguard built into the ECU of the car). Grab one from a scrapyard and swap it in and see if that fixes the issue.

Engine Power

Hi your problem seems very easy :) hope this one work with your envoy. Just buy AC DELCO carburetor tune-up conditioner.

How you use it: engine running , AC off please

1. detached the big black airflow hose which is attached in the mannifold of the engine block.

2. ask your friend to step on the gas pedal and set the rpm steady in 2000 rpm only.

3. then spray vigorously in 8 seconds the inside circle opening of mannifold while your friend steady step on gas pedal with steady 2000 RPM only.

4. after you spray, let your freind continue on gas pedal with 2000 rpm for 15 more seconds.

5. attached back the airflow big black hose to the manifold and you are ready to roll with your AC on.
