You must op popped the maind fuse. follow the posive baterry cable. somewhere between the end and the fuses that do not have power is a bigger fuse that popped.. Being this old of a truck I have not location information but it should be pretty east to find. Its also possible this uses a fusible link wire.

Check battery voltage,it should be at least 12.7 V with the vehicle not running and 14V to 15V with the car running.Try a boost/jump start from another car and clean battery cables.

Accidently crossed jumper cables on my 95 buick lesabre has power but wont click or turn over

does that have a silonoid on the starter or seperate from the starter? either way i would test the silonoid. i usually take a screw driver an touch it post to post on the. make sure to keep your hand on the handle an not on the metal because you might get shocked. usually when a vehicle wont turn over but clicks its the starter but if it doesnt click then its the silonoid. hope this helps.

My car only starts when i cross wire the neutral safety switch. i recently changed out the ignition and it ran for about 3 weeks now nothing! wont turn over at all not even a click (unnless i cross wire...

if your starting the car,by only jumping a wire at the neutral switch, then you more than likely have a bad neutral safety switch that needs to be replaced.
