Question about 2001 Hyundai Santa Fe
This seems to be an engine pressure loss. a leakage in the headgasket or headgasket busy blowing. an engine gets it's power through the pressur it builds up. no pressure, no power. a good mechanic should help you. don't take it to hyundai. they will rip you off. shouldn't be an expensive exercise. otherwise it could be the 4weel drive system busy saying goodbuy. a secondhand unit shouldn't be too hard to find. may be a little expensive though. it can also make the car not to accelerate. good luck.
