2005 S Isuzu Ascender Speedometer niddle moved all the way to the right of gage and as not moved.

If the odometer is working correctly, the problem is inside the speedometer head.
The speed sensor would be on the side of the transmission if the odometer is not working.

Location of transmission sencor??

The input an output speed sensors are located in the front of the transmission (the side facing the radiator). The input speed sensor is the one right below the rubber transmission cooler lines. the out put speed sensor looks exactly the same and is located more toward the drivers side of the transmission.

If you looking for a different sensor let me know. Thank you for using FixYa.com!

I am not for sure on your car, but my car has a TCM, a Transmission Control Module. I had the same problem but only at an increase in speed, not decrease. Just trying to help. Sorry it's not much.

Where is the vehicle speed sencor on a dodge ram 1500 V8 cyl. 1998 . the book says its on the tranny or rearend or could be on the steering colume. can't find it.

If its a 4x4 its in the transfer case near the back on the housing the drive shaft goes into. The one in the rear end is located dead center on top of the differential.

Where is the location of the su2142 speed sencor on a ford focus 2001

Dear Madam or Sir,

Is this the vehicle speed sensor? This one is mounted on top of the gearbox.

If the SU2142 is the engine Speed sensor, it is mounted on the cylinder head near the camshaft sprockets.
