Question about 2005 Chevrolet Aveo
My key is stuck in the engine, how do i get it out?
You can remove the key by pushing the shifter all the way to the left and turning the key at the same time and the key will release. This problem is caused by a bad solenoid in the shifter assembly and is covered under the powertrain warranty.

If it is broken off in the ignition, I would suggest a really small super strong magnet or some silly puddy. Sounds goofy but it has worked for me on numerous occaisions.
