Check your EVAP can. Aka charcoal canister. Located near the PCM on the top passenger side of the engine compartment. It's a small little black cylinder with one 13mm (I think) bolt holding it upright.
Almost all fuel pumps on all of the newer cars and truck are located inside the fuel tanks. I'm no expert but I'll bet your Durango will have to have the gas tank removed to replace the fuel pump so make sure the tank is as empty as possible if you attempt to do it yourself.
This can be multiple problems I would check if it's the fuel pump, fuel filter, or possible fuel line leak. If you have any check engine lights take your car to a autozone they will check it free.
Could be several reasons, WHY, or combo of reasons--- You may need an engine tune up. Your fuel pressure low, due to a dirty filters, dirty injectors, weak spark...etc.
