Okay so here's what you do...take driver side door panel off and look for a purple and yellow wire in the wire bundle. Cut this wire and using a ring connector, strip and crimp connector on end of wire running from the front of the door (i.e. hinge side of door). Using a self tapping screw, screw the ring connector into the metal behind the door panel....you are basically grounding the alarm system. Wrap the other end of the cut purple and yellow alarm wire with electric tape and your done. If you don't want to take the door apart you can also access the purple and yellow wire in the driver side kick panel at the black plug....you would follow the same procedure as you would for the door. Good Luck!

Fob still won't work after new battery and nothing wrong with the contact inside, do not hae original code for the Kia sportage 1998 so what is the next best thing ,to do?

When replacing the key fob battery there is no reprogramming required! If the key fob was working prior to the battery replacement then it would point to the contacts not being correct! Remove key fob battery and start again!

How to disable satria neo campro 1.6 alarm system?

Will do you no good. Even if you turn it off, you cannot start the car without an original key. You need to get hold of your spare key or get one made to start it. These keys has RFID immobilizer chip that has to programmed on the car to make the on board immobilizer recognize it.

The alarm system is integrated into the vehicle electronics, you can't completely bypass it. You don't need a remote to have it work right and not go off, you have a problem with the system like a door sensor.

I don't have a keyless remote and the alarm went off until i pull the battery cable

  • If this is a factory alarm then hook up the battery and put the key in the ignition. Not turn the vehicle on. This should disable the alarm if everything is working as it should. If it does not then there is a malfunction somewhere.

I have a 1994 toyota camery and it has an alarm system the kids left light oh and killed battery so we charged it now alarm is going off we dont have remote for alarm and now we cant start car. how do we...

Hello. Welcome to FixYa. Please allow me to assist you. If you have a factory alarm system (not one that was added from a non-Toyota alarm manufacturer), the way to disable the alarm is to insert the key into the ignition, cycle the key from lock to on (not to the start position) five times. Try that and see if that fixes your problem. Remember, this trick will not work if you do not have a Toyota system installed.

The car wont start battery good starter good has lights and power just no turn over

does it have an alarm system? does it have a little metal chip in the key surrounded by plastic, if so that's your factory alarm disable chip that allows the car to start. if your key has a chip in it then this is more than likely your problem, it's a bad design that wears out and fails in different ways. you need to either find someone who can bypass the alarm or you'll need to have the ignition lock assembly replaced.

If there is no original remote try to find a switch that may be hidden but accessible from the drivers seat, if the alarm is no longer needed find an auxilliary wire that may be on the battery or the fuse panel, if original there may be a fuse under the hood, pull the fuse and it should disable the alarn system.

Alarm bypass. alarm system faulty

This had been done many times before.... But it is VERY involved and you HAVE to know what your doing. To bypass the little "chip" in the key, you have to know its resistance value in ohms, then you get a resistor of the exact same value and put it in-line in the wire that reads the chip in the ignition. Then you have tricked the system into thinking that the right key is always there. Like I said you have to know what wire it is, what kind of resistor, and what value to put in. However the payoff is no more expensive keys....keys without the chip will now start the car, sience you have tricked the passkey system into thinking the key has the chip in it.

Security alarm goes off when unlocking the driver's side door.

If it's a factory security system and you're setting it off every time you unlock the door, it sounds like you have a replacement key and not the original factory "chip" key that likely came with the vehicle. You may end up having to do to your local Honda/Acura dealership to have them look up the factory chip code and cut you a new key with the chip that keeps the system from getting tripped. Hope this solves your problem and have a great day!
