Gauges flip back and forth then settle and repeat, car stopped, would nto turn over : repair man suppose to have diagnoised as sensor, but it run long enough to get 2 exits from shop over heated and started by from square one

First the blower motor stopped working, then the next day it wouldnt turn over and all the gauges started flipping back and forth when you turn the key on ?


Sounds like you might have a low battery. I would check and make sure you have a string 12v at the battery and make sure you have at least 13v to the battery when you get the vehicle started.

Bleeding your power steering


after you fill with fluid, start engine and turn the steering wheel all the way back and forth a few times, then let it set for a few mins so the air bubbles will settle. then fill with fluid and repeat the process again. that should do it

Fuel gauge goes from full when tank is empty to empty (with idiot light) when tank is full. Will flip back and forth as I am driving


Sounds like a an intermittent short or open at fuel level sensor on the top of the gas tank, check wires for rubbing or chafing

Have a 1986 nissan 300zx V6 non turbo wont start, hear fuel pump runnung no oil pressure on gauge replaced oil pressure unit still wont start any helpful advise


a oil gauge reading maybe delayed until car starts and builds good oil press.Did you check for spark
was car running good before this happened? Do you have a rpm reading when cranking car?

Temp Gauge Spiking


Check the coolant level, a small air lock can cause this, as the steam passes the sensor, the steam is hotter than the coolant

Disconnect mass air flow sensor. SHould run constant if the MAF sensor is the problem.

sounds like you have a bad fuel gauge sending unit common problem it is located inside the the fuel tank with the fuel pump Auto Zone should be able to pull codes to verify this it should say you have a bad fuel level sensor code

Gas gauge turned all the way around


Take a small piece of wire and put it through the trip milage hole and flip it back over the other way. And it will work correctly. Did thid to mine and it works fine.
