Location signal flasher

Under the drivers side dash. Move your seat all the way back and tilt your steering wheel all the way up....then lay on your back and shimmy up underneath the steering column, with your back resting on the floorboard. Remove the cardboard cover that hides all the wires and steering column. The flasher is located up towards the steering column between the column and the center dash. It you have trouble locating it....turn your ignition to accessory mode, (the key position just before it engages the starter), and turn on the turn will hear the click click and find it immediately. It is a square/maybe slightly rectangular shaped box about 1 1/4" X 1 1/8" X 3/4" tall. It plugs into a receptacle that is on the end of a set of wires that are strapped to the side of the steering column. Hold the receptacle with one hand and grasp the flasher and pull it out with the other hand.

Where is on 1987 pontiac 6000 are the bulbs for turn signals How do I get to them? & or the flasher ? Is it in the fuse box?

The turn signals at the rear share the same bulb, same filament on the bulb even, as the brake lights. So if you have brake lights, the rear turn signal bulbs are good. If I recall, you access the rear bulbs from inside the trunk, and pretty easy to change bulbs. Look for a panel or trim piece in the trunk that covers the light bulb assemblies. You turn the bulb sockets a quarter turn counter-clockwise and pull them out, then you can replace the bulbs. They are two filament bulbs-one filament for the park lights (tail lights) and one filament that serves for brakes and turn signals together.
The flasher unit is a small round cylinder, I don't believe it was in the fuse box, but located up under the dash, close to the steering column. The hazard flasher unit was also up under there and looks the same. Look for them on a bracket near or by the steering column, possibly one on each side of the steering column To find the turn flasher, turn your hazard switch on. The little round unit that is clicking-you may hear it or feel it click with your finger on it-is the hazard flasher. The turn flasher will be the one that is not clicking. A little round cylinder is how you identify it.

Turn signal failure

The bulbs all have to be good for the flasher to work. The flasher is under the dash, driver side. When you turn on a blinker, do you hear it clicking under the dash. If the turn light is on , on the dash , but not flashing, then a bulb is probably bad on that side. Leave the blinker on and walk around the vehicle to check the lights. Flip the blinker to the other side and walk around the vehicle again checking lights. If all the lights are lit, but not blinking, then the flasher is most likely bad.

Turn signal is blinking to fast. is it the light or a switch?

This might be the flasher relay on your fuse box... go underneath the driver side dash and turn your blinkers on. You will hear the flasher clicking and you can also feel it if you put your finger on it... You can go to your local auto parts store and pick one up there.... Now if its just the little arrow on the dash flashing too fast on one side then it will be one of the light bulbs on that side... check your front and back turn lights on that side and which ever is not flashing will be the bad one.....

Under the dash on the drivers side of the vehicle. May be in the fuse box.

Where do i find the turn signal flasher on 2000 ford f350 super duty lariat

I would turn the turn signal or the hazard flashers on to find the respective flasher that 'clicks' when you hear and feel it, if functioning correctly.

It probably is buried underneath the steering column area under the dash.

Flasher Relay location- 1998 Mazda B3000 pickup 4x4

it's basically a stand alone relay... most times... look for a relay by itself and often round. my ford winstars flasher relay was actually located in the fuse box under the drivers side dash. it was blue and larger then the other relays so that may be a clue to you.
