Question about 2005 Chrysler Town & Country
How to install EGR Valve on 3.3Liter V-6
Don't know exactly what it looks like in this vehicle, but it always has to cross over between the exhaust and intake manifold. It gets hot, so it will be heat proof materials and tubing, that will show heat marks.
Usually it is a 2 bolt flange with a gasket.
But consider just plugging it off.
The EGR harms most engines.
It put deposits on the back side of the intake valves, which rip up the guides and guide seals.
The purpose is to poison the mixture in order to reduce the explosion temp so fewer Nox compounds produced, but the resulting reduction of power causes people to simply depress the gas pedal more, thus actually increasing pollution. But since they only check parts per million, and not total pollution, it will pass DEQ.
So I would only install it if you can't pass DEQ without it.
