Question about 2002 Dodge Stratus

Passenger Side Windows arent working

The passenger side windows both front a back on my 2002 dodge stratus have started to act up. Some days they wont go down and other days they will go down but not back up. Right now the back window is stuck down and wont go up at all. is this a motor problem, or a fuse problem, or is it something else. Any help would be greatly appriecated. thanks.

IT SOUNDS LIKE YOU EITHER NEED A NEW WINDOW REGULATOR. THE MOTOR MAY STILL BE GOOD BUT THE REGULATOR MAY NOT BE ALLOWING THE WINDOW TO ROLL DOWN OR UP, BECAUSE IT IS WORN OUT.

2002 dodge stratus passenger side windows stopped working

First thing to check is the fuse. I am pretty sure your control switch is out but checking the fuse is just the easy part of the troubleshoot. I am making an assumption that neither switch for the passenger window is working. If that is the case then the driver side switch is out. Very easy to replace and usually around 50 bucks. If you pull the switch out you can test with a meter and short out the wires to check for function.

I had this same problem I changed the master switch in the driver door and it fixed the windows and it may be your power lock switch there to.

2005 Dodge stratus power windows

Less tan aceptable quality components were used by Chrysler on the Cloud cars (Stratus, Cirrus, Sebring) Much better iones were used in the previous Spirit, Reliant, LeBaron models. To help, you need to maintain clean all the window guides and cranck mecanism, properly lubricated and adjusted to reduce binding and sticking, which will burn out the cheap motors. Check proper voltage reaching the motors and very importantly, the ground return.

My passenger power windows quit working

If you try to work with the driver side windows switch... work passenger window?
Yes: Your problem is the passenger windows switch
No: Your problem is the power windows motor

Take off the door panel and first try testing wires voltage at windows motor and motor at windows switch.

Hope helps.

1999 dodge durango, all the windows work except the front passenger window. Would this be a fuse problem? or is there something wrong with just that window?

HI there is one fuse for all the windows .
check the window switches. main switch on driver side and the passenger side
if window works with main switch .then you have bad switch on passenger
side .but if nothing works .it is the window motor

Passenger windows wont work

the fuses when you open up the drivers side door towards the top there should be a panel that you can remove to find the fuses but it may also be a relay that has gone bad in the engine compartment fuses and relay bay or the switch for the windows has gone bad try the driver side switch if it doesnt work try  the switchs for the individual windows on there doors.
