Question about 1990 Chevrolet K1500
Changed engine and the trans seems to not shift if you let up on the gas pedal it's hanging between gears - if constant speed it shifts fine and worked fine utill the engine change?
Sounds like its the deterent cable? Thats the passing gear cable going from the throtle linkage to the transmission. Maybee kinked up or in a bind. Or not hooked up. But prob too tight. Or a vacuum leak
