Question about 2003 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD
After putting more fuel in the vehicle
Open the hood
On the righthand side of the engine just to the side of valve cover, back by the firewall you will find a round plunger about 1 1/2" in diameter. The plunger will push down and come right back up on its own. Push the plunger rapidly till the pushing gets firmer or stiff.
Start it up. Sometimes it will have to be done a couple of times. I actually fined it works best to pump it firm and then have someone else start it while you keep pumping it. If you do it this way make sure your body is clear of all moving parts.
This is a very fast way of getting it going

You must purge all the air from the system thoroughly... if needed reference a maintanence repair manual for your partricular engine type to gain knowlege of the air purge valves locations and exact air purge procedure
