Chrysler 300 driver seat moves one side

This happened on my 2005 300C. The seat motor has two rods one on each side. the one that drives the side that doesn't work has most likely twisted off. The unit costs about 150 bucks. No need to take seat out to replace it.

Why won't the driver's seat on my 2006 XJ8L won't adjust in height?

You have a problem with the power seat transmission. The 1st thing to do is make sure that nothing under the seat is impeding the movement of the seat, if that is OK you will need to try and find a used power seat transmission, the parts are not sold separately, just the whole assembly.

How to adjust the driver seat of a 2006 hummer h2 after it turns off

You must remove the seat from the truck, then remove the drive motors that control the adjustment you wish to make, then set the seat to where you want it and reinstall the drive motors. There is no other way. I would suggest you try and fix the problem with the seat, often it is just the switch that is bad.

Automatic driver seat broken, how to fix/cost

The back and foward movement uses the same motor. So if it moves one way but not the other it's most likely the switch. Try to blow it out or clean it out. If pop or somthing spilled on it you will prob. need to pull switch out and take it apart to clean contacks inside.

My daughter's 2005 grand prix will not start. How can she get in the trunk to get to her jumper cables because the key fob won't work to open the trunk and the inside trunk release won't work...

In your situation I think your best bet is going to be taking out the back seat. Luckily this is very easy and will allow you easy access to your truck and jumper cables. Okay in order to remove the back seat you will have to have a socket set. There should be 2 bolts holding the bottom of the seat down and you can find them on the floor on the front part of the rear seat. One bolt on the driver side and one bolt on the passenger side. After you get those bolts out you should be able to remove the bottom section of the seat. If you can not look for two more bolts on the back part of the seat. You will have to look between the back of the seat and the bottom part. After you take those two bolts out both parts of the seat should be free and you can remove them. I hope this helps.
