All the above is normal , except 2000rpm is a little high at idle . can be adjusted down to 1500rpm. the computer adjusts the engine speed . in drive the transmission loads up the engine idle drops to 1000rpm . in park engine unloaded rpm increase all normal.

My 99 maxima car rpm goes up and down olny when i hit 2,000rpm's and will not go over 45 mph what could be wrong with it ?

If your driving along light on the gas & as the transaxle
shifts or later the tach or rpm flairs up,then the transaxle
is slipping

There is no fix for that ,other than having it removed & rebuilt

Need a trans repair shop for that

My 2003 rav 4 4wd is actinmg strangely, sometimes if u r driving, n depress the gas pedal, it doesnt respond, but the rpm continues 2 increase, till after abt 4 secs, it wud kick in, with a soft...

Sounds like transmission fluid and filter needs changing. It's one of the most overlooked maintenance items. Trans fluid and filter should be done every 50k miles. If you tow a trailer should be done 30k. (I assuming this is an automatic transmission. You didn't say)

When i turn the ignition on the engine start o,k.,the rpm is o'k but when i drive the cars the rpm stick on 3000 rpm can evetone tell me whats can i do

The rev counter could be faulty.
I hope the engine is responding ok on accelaration inspite of the rev counter being stuck on 3000rpm , if so thn its definately the rev counter being faulty.

Check engine light

Go to Autozone and have them scan the engine code. Post what you find. My guess is an O2 sensor.
