I would check for cracked or broken vacuum hose. See my "Tip" on how to find a vacuum leak.

Why did engine running, won't restart.

lots and lots of reasons, guessing. over 50 (bad engine?)
but does it crank?, no car starts unless it's cranked or
like my car, push started or gravity started (a 6sp m/t)
if engine fails to start , and cranks robustly (fast starter motor)
1: never tuned up, running 10 year old spark parts.
2: blow fuse. check fuses.
3:; lost spark, check spark.
4: flooding or loss of fueling. to unflood any engine, crank at wideopen throttle (oper, guide tells you that)
5: timing belt not changed at 60,000 miles it will fail, and will not start
or start have like 1/4 power.
6: lost compression in or more cylinders.?

get it serviced? if all that is too much work? or confusing.

Idle up and down not good power

which engine, there are many opted engine, name one.
did you say the engine lacks power? under what conditions.
wideopen throttle weak?

btw : no idle works right if the engine runs bad.
lean fuel the ISC cant control idle ,
same for misifire.
idle is the last thing to work right in EFI.

is engine misfiring, and if so did it before the tune up or after./?

Hi , my 2.8 td pajero 1994 has an acceleration fault.. It idles and revs fine but when acceleraiting up a hill there is a hissing sound from the engine bay and power drops. Any ideas P,EASE )

To me lack of power means Compression, Fuel, Spark.
Hissing sounds like Compression - vacuum leak--either a hose, valve, or gasket. Getting a code?
Should be able to take the vehicle to Autozone, Oreilly's for a free code check. Could be a sensor.

I hope this helps.

Engine management system

the EFI already makes max HP.
when you do WideOpen throttle , the EFI goes to about 12.5:1 AFR
that AFR (air fuel ratio) is MAX HP for fueling.
so my guess is your question assumes the HP is limited by the EFI.
its not true.
The only way to more power is to :
Increase displacement.
or make it breath better (complex)
or blow it. (forced induction of any kind)
(if your question was)???? how to make my EFI handing a bigger engine (or blown) then that is a whole other complex answer.
but I can answer that with the best book ever published on that.

Jag diesel o5 engine fault

Hi Without seeing exactly what your looking at ,you need to try and find the vacumn pipes going to the control valve and carefully lok to see they are conected and that there are no splits in the pipes,if the pipes and mechanically sound then you probably have a fault valve, try running your finger around the valve to see if the hissing noise changes.
Hope this helps

Accelerates rough/weak acceleration 2002Jeep GC

If you heard a hiss, that's probably what to look for. With your engine running, wiggles all your vacuum lines around, and try to find that hiss again. It will be a broken or cracked or loose vacuum line somewhere. A stethoscope, or a length of fuel hose held to your ear can sometimes help you find them.
