Replaced stereo in 2004 Ford F-150: used a ford wiring harness with all wires connected correctly, but no power to stereo??

Check for a inline fuse, if no fuse is found, fit a power wire from the ignition switch to the power connection on the stereo via a inline fuse.

2004 power windows need fuse number on fuse cover

Bob,
There is a rectangular 30 amp circuit breaker, located in the Central Junction [fuse & relay] box. If any of the power windows work, that is not the problem. Best to remove the affected power window switch and check for both power & ground going into the switch. The switch controls both power & ground to the motor. Basically, it sends power and ground to the motor, switching them between the 2 output wires, depending on if you want the window to go up or down. If switch works normally, check for power at the motor connector. If power and ground are found at the motor connector in both directions, change the motor.

These cars have a factory amp system that will not operate correctly with an aftermarket stereo. You have two choices. You can either run new wires to the speakers your self which would bypass the factory amp. Or you can order the premium sound system Interface here http://www.myinstallkit.com/FORD/1990%20(90)%20FORD%20THUNDERBIRD%20Radio%20-%20Stereo%20Installation%20Kit.htm scroll about half way down the page.

02 ford f-150 water getting in somehow and tripping fuses causing windows not to work, stereo & weird beeping sound. Don't know where or how it getting wet.

1 of 2 places.
1. The windshield on the driver's side towards the lower corner. This is the more common location, and causes water to run down the a-pillar, and drip on the cab fuse panel / GEM

2. The less common location, power roof panel. Some times this will have an issue and water will run down the a pillar, similar to the leaking windhsield.

Radio wiring

its best to use a test light to check your trucks wires withignition off find a wire that has power to it and place the yellow memory wire from the stereo to it next with ignition on acc find power from ur truck then place the red wire from your stereo to it attach the black wire to a good earth reguarding the speakers on the back of each speaker should be the same color wire as in the dash put striped wire to + and plain wire to - on each speaker the blue wires from your stereo are optional power antenna and amp. let me know if you get stuck... note u may have some wires left in the dash thats normal just clip them and tape them
