Question about 2003 Land Rover Freelander
Disconect the battery and reconnect after 30 seconds, rear window will open ready for you to reset limits, now put key in rear door lock and turn clock wise until window goes all the way closed. if it stay closed you have reset it , if it opens back up after you release the key , repeat with key until it stays closed, if it has now reset press and hold the unlock button on the remote for 5 seconds and the window should go down. that should sort your problem out..

I know this is reopening an old post, but I just wanted to post for any other readers searching for the answer that this is incorrect.
The real issue is due to a cable coming away from its pulley when stretched. It can be solved by putting a small spacer in between the cable and bracket.
