Question about 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee
Gear selecter moves freely foward and back. Can't change gears and is in drive Is the linkage between the selecter and trans. broken and how hard would it be to fix
The shifter cable that runs from the lever down to the transmission is most likely broken. You can move the lever on the transmission to put it in park.
