Are you sure that it is the board?? I have a 1995 c1500 and it was doing same thing. Its mounted on rubber gromets and developed a bad ground. Take a wire with two big clips on both ends of it and clip one to the wiper motor. And other on the motor, on a bolt or something.

If the wiper control module has been replaced and the problem is still present, suspect a wiper switch. There are numerous resistors incorporated into this switch to control the different functions of wiper operation. If one or more resistors fail, the voltage to the wiper module will incorrect and cause problems

1995 g20 van wiper motor works fine but park position sometimes stops halfway ,wiper transmission fine

Jimmy, the 1995 gm used a delay circut board for the wipers.these are known to fail, gm even had a recall to fix this. I dont know if they will still repair this free. the board is available from dorman parts and located on the wiper motor under the plastic cover. It is a fairly esay fix. Hope this helps, Bill

Can you please give me instructions on replacing the wiper motor pulse board module on my 95 Chevy Van G20?

This is a very simple procedure and will save you lots of money by replacing it yourself! A common replacement item on GM vehicles, it should be readily available at your local auto parts retailer and should take no more than a half-hour with just a couple of tools.

• Turn the ignition key to the OFF position.
• Remove the Connector Position Assurance (CPA) and disconnect the wiper motor electrical connector.

• Remove the three screws that secure the cover to the wiper motor and remove the cover.
• Inspect for sealant on the inside of the cover and then discard the cover and screws. Important: If sealant was found on the old cover, it will be necessary to remove any old sealant from the motor housing in Step 6.
• Carefully remove the module (circuit board) from the wiper motor by lifting up on the end of the module electrical connector.
• If necessary, remove any old sealant from the wiper motor housing (refer to Step 4). Notice: When handling the new module in the next step, be careful not to damage or band the electrical contacts on the bottom side of the module.
• Install the module into the wiper motor housing, making sure that the module is fully seated. When fully seated, the edges of the module circuit board will be flush (even) with the motor housing along all sides.

• Carefully apply a bead of silicone sealant, P/N 12345739 (or GE-162 sealant or equivalent) in the groove of the NEW cover (Figure 2). Remove any excess sealant that is outside of the groove. Important: Only apply enough sealant to fill the groove in the cover.
Install the new cover on the wiper motor housing and install the three new screws.
• Tighten the screws to 2.6 N·m (23 lb in).
• Reconnect the wiper motor electrical connector to the wiper motor assembly and install the CPA.
• Turn the ignition key to the ON position and check the wiper system for proper operation (delay/low/high/etc.).

Windshield wipers will not turn off - 2003 Chevrolet Silverado

Fixed the wiper problem which was identical to Brad's by changing out the wiper module which is also called a pulse module or something of that nature. Pretty easy fix. You have to remove the grill that the wiper blades protrudes from in order to get to the motor (4 clips in front which can be removed by hand, remove radio antenna, a center push down retainer, two plastic end caps which pop off and then 1 star type screw on each end under the end caps). Getting the blades off seemed difficult. I used a small puller to pop them off after removing the nuts.

You can't buy this module at a regular parts store. I had to get it from the dealer so be prepared to spend $130 to $140 for the part or go to the salvage yard. Works great now.
