Immediately after replacing drive belt, replenishing fluids and charging battery, the 2003 Honda Civic si VTEC 2-0 L, will not start

Tap on the starter with a hammer, but don't hit the wires to the battery, then try it, if that don't work check the cables from the battery to the starter to see if the bolts are tight. But first take the hot cable off the battery, so you don't short out the starter or the battery. And also clean and tighten the cables to the battery.

At what mileage is a 2004 Honda Civic 4door Si due for transmissionn service i.e. tranny oil and filter

You need the owners manual, which you can order
from Honda, and follow the operating under severe
conditions schedule. This a high performance version
of the civic and should demand more frequent maint.
My 05 Accord owners manual, under normal operating
conditions, has some ridiculous 10k for the oil and 20k
for the filter change sched. Meanwhile, my Honda service
rep. pulled me to the side and says change oil and filter
every 4k. You be the judge.

How much tranny fluid od i need for my 2004 honda civic si? do i need to use genuine honda fluid? do i need a grain plug gasket? also can i flush the tranny fluid or do i have to fill and drain it 3 times...

Your Civic auto transmission requires 6.2 US quarts TOTAL.
I know the Manual says to flush three times, but I believe the reference is to the situation IF you have temporarily used a Dexron II fluid. If you are already using Honda ATF-Z1, I wouldn't worry about flushing three times. I would simply look at the plug gasket to determine whether or not you need a new one. The old one will probably do fine, but gaskets certainly don't cost much so you might as well get one while you're getting the fluid (if somebody has one in stock).
Hope this helps.

Honda civic pedal assembly

It should be a simple fix. If you go to a local dealer, it can be as easy as them pulling a pin, lowering the pedal and replacing the pin. If the car is newer, it is all electric and there are no hydrolic parts to depress. Good luck!!!

Changing the clutch in a 1995 Civic Si coupe

You could do this job your self just pay attention and take your time. If the gear box went out you may want to replace the whole transmission all together. It will save you time and money in the long run. If it has a lot of miles it probably wont be long before the rest of the transmission goes out trust me i have three of them with the same problem that are no good.

buy5.gif It's directly on top of the engine, in the center, toward the back. It looks like a rectangle in shape, and has I believe 6 screws around, and one permanent screw in the middle. Just take out the 6 screws, loosen the middle one, and pull it off. Quite easy!
