Not going to be diy unless your almost a real mechanic. All the engines that can come in this car are difficult to work on, many tools are needed, and the job must be done perfectly or engine damage can result.

My van is loosing water very slowly and i can't see a leak

Vans are always a problem as they have limited visual accessibility.
Water leaks occur commonly, although most are usually easy to find. You aren't saying just how slowly the leakage is, but anything that only requires a reservoir top-off once a month or so will be very hard to find. One leak source that can be difficult to see are from the water pump weep hole. This hole is designed to let water leak out when the pump is getting on to the end of its life. This is to tell you it's time to replace the pump. Unfortunately, some pumps are very well hidden, and in some cases the water that leaks out will fall on the engine block and evaporate before hitting the ground. Seepage around hose clamps is also a possibility. Another potential issue could be the heater core going bad. They are hidden in the passenger compartment. There are two relatively easy ways to find small leaks. The first is to go to an auto parts store and get a coolant leak detection kit. It will have a bottle of fluorescent dye that goes into the radiator. Then after a few days, you can, in the garage or in the early evening when it starts getting dark out, use the detection flashlight to look for luminescent trails from the water leak. If that doesn't work, most shops will do a pressure test of your cooling system using a similar dye tracer for a reasonable fee.

How can I repair water leak?

Good grief, what kind of water leak? In your car radiator? In the house from a copper pipe? Or a toilet, a sink, a faucet? All these leaks require different fixes. Let us know where the leak is from. Then we'll have a better chance of giving you the correct advice.

I will tell you this, if the leak is from a "pin hole" in a copper pipe in your house you need to get a water testing kit to see if you have acidic water eating away your copper pipes. If so you need to replace the copper pipe and then get an acid neutralizer ASAP. If you do not get an acid neutralizer all of your copper pipes will be leaking since the acidic water has been eating away at all your pipes.

Coolant leak from underneath

if you have a coolant or antifreeze mixed with the water, you should see a trace of the coolant on the motor, where it is leaking. check water hose clamps and water pump. if the water pump is leaking slowly, it has failed and will break within time. any coolant leak will cause your car engine to overheat.

I've changed the head gasket (top overhaul),the thermostat, the radiator cap and serviced the radiator where the water is flushed out and replaced and checked for no leaks but still my trooper over

You have a water leak from the sound of it or water is draining from over heating. Things to check for, leaks at the hose connections, leaks at heater connections on engine, leaks at water pump and any leaks at head gasket. Assuming there are no leaks check or replace or adjust your water pump belt. Take the thermostat out and run the engine without out it. If the problem is solved replace the thermostat recommended for you car. You can also have it checked as well.

Coolant is quickly leaking from underside of engine. Upon visual inspection, no hoses were found to be leaking or cracked. I have a 2004 Chevy Colorado and my coolant pump i on the underside of the engine....

The water pump has a bleed hole on the under side, which is where the coolant is comming from.
This usually happens when the bearing is failing. It may have been leaking slightly for some time. Slowly getting worse is the norm. But it's possible the seal failed suddenly too.

You need to replace the water pump.

Jetta TDI Coolant leak from behind tming belt.

hi from uk from the symptom/location you say water leak is coming from ? this is most likely to be the water pump that is leaking ? considering age/milage ? this is not uncommon however as the water pump is driven by cambelt this unfortunately means you will have to replace the cambelt and tensioner as well as the water pump it is policy never to use old belt/tensioner once disturbed for obvious reasons i'm sure you have heard stories of result of cambelt failure? and the serious damage caused to engine ? also if leak is serious? this will deteriate c/belt so advice you consider renewal asap cambeltkit +tensioner in uk casts approx under £45 and w/pump a little less you can obtain from most good motor factors/superstores avoid dealers this job is not too difficult diy with haynes or w/shop manual if you follow instructions and have tool kit hope this helps?
