If your supercharger sounds like tumbling rocks, it is the plastic coupler between the nose cone and the charger body; take off your serpentine belt; chances are the pulley has some play in it but it turns freely; the replacement coupler is a cheap fix; what gets a lil pricey is the labor to replace it... the buick has an alternator bracket that has to come off before you can take the nose off of the supercharger... dont forget to drain the oil from the nose cone with a spray bottle nozzle

In most cases once the supercharger goes, the vehicle will not run. That said, I have seen a couple of them that would operate just not as smoothly as when the compressor is giving the cylinders the air they need. Joe

Have buick riviera 95 supercharged drive car then shuts off while driving replaced fuel filter and fuel pump check for spark and gets a spark what should check next?

This car should have a lot of miles on it. You will want to pay attention to everything, the way it idles, the color of the exhaust. It really could be anything. I would check the CAT, may be time to change, could be a worn-out ignition switch, how does the key go in and turn? It may be a defective sensor but you would need to inspect them and the related wiring. Also a good scan-tool would help so you could look at live data. Does that help?

'95 Buick Riviera, SuperCharger. Car won't Start up!

unplug the cam sensor behind the water pump pulley; see if it starts; if it does, shut off engine; replace both cam and crank sensors because crank sensors go out in these engines

Buick review

Good engine 28 mpg+ hwy. These 3800 engines had upper intake problems and would leak coolant into the combustion chamber. The new ones were re-designed and do not give any trouble. My 90 buick 3800 has 295000 miles on it. If yours is supercharged it does not have that intake problem.
