Question about 2000 Chevrolet Malibu
I have a 2000 Malibu. I always have a problem with the brake light bulb going out. Usually I would just change it and it would be fine for a while. Now however, it won't come on at all. Mind you, it is only the driver side light. The thing I can't understand is, the same bulb that is the tail comes on, but when I hit the brakes it doesn't "brighten" like the one on the other side so I get no light. Also the bulb socket right next to it doesn't come on at all, so it definitely is something with brake light. I also checked the wires that go into the panel and they all seem to be okay. Any suggestions?
Is there any corrosion in the socket? if not its possibly a ground problem in the socket.
