How do I remove the front seats on a 2002 Honda crv. my driver door won't unlock so I need to get to the door panel. Thanks! Neil

At least you can practice on the passenger seat first.

Firstly most modern car seats have at least one wiring connector underneath. Sometimes it is possible to disconnect first and sometimes it is easier to unbolt the seat first and gently tilt it backwards for greater access.

There will typically be at least one bolt at each corner, possibly two and these days there is often some cover trim to remove for access. The seat is then moved as far forward as possible to release the rear bolts and then moved rearwards to release the front bolts. Sometimes there isn't much room and backache is the result...

When refitting, run all the bolts home and then move the seat backwards and forwards several times during the final tightening.

Starter problems have to put in gear &rock forwards &backwards, then it will start.

Hello and welcome to FixYa!
The starter surely is weak for it can't turn the flywheel when sitting for a long time that's why you have to move it for it to start. I strongly suggest a starter replacement.
Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa! Have a good one!

Transmission removel

FRONT WHEEL DRIVE, OR REAR WHEEL DRIVE? REAR WHEEL DRIVE: REMOVE THE DRIVE SHAFT, AND STARTER! UNHOOK BATTERY FIRST! CARRAMPS WILL BE HELPFUL! LOOSEN ALL BOLTS AROUND THE BELL HOUSING TO THE BACK OF THE MOTOR, AS WELL AS THE TWO CROSSMEMBER BOLTS AT THE BACK OF THE TRANSMISSION! TAKE ALL THE BOLTS OFF THE TOP AND BOTTOM OF THE BELL HOUSING LEAVING TWO SIDE BOLTS IN UNTIL YOU GET A HELPING HAND, OR A FLOOR JACK TO HELP SUPPORT IT! REMOVE THE LAST TWO BOLTS, AND WIGGLE THE TRANSMISSION LOOSE! CONTINUE BACKWARDS WITH THE TRANSMISSION UNTIL IT CLEARS THE FLYWHEEL, AND LOWER IT TO THE GROUND!

I pulled all the bellhousing bolts..motor mount bolts...and can't seperate the 4 speed granny transmission from the engine block...what's the problem..everything is lose but won't seperate..

The input shaft (on the front of the trans) is inserted into the clutch plate, so the trans has to move straight backward (or the engine has to move straight forward) about two or three inches to separate the two, before either one can move up or down.

Make sure that you can get them to rotate slightly with respect to each other, to make sure that there is not one more bolt somewhere that is still holding them together.

If you are pulling the engine, make sure that you have already removed the radiator, otherwise when you pull the engine forward, it could go too far and smash the radiator.

03 punto when turn key starter motor clicks after few times motor gets warm is it easy to remove will it just need cleaning and refitting

You may as well get a reconditioned starter as the best cheap option. The main thing though is to disconnect the battery before tackling the removel of the starter motor. As for the removel of the starter motor, if you approach the job in a logical manner then it should not present too many problems. Look at the position of the starter motor and the securing bolts (these bolts will be tight) and look at the access you have to work in and remove the starter. Wire brush the threads of the bolts before refitting.
