Gs300 coolant is bubbling in resevoir, but temp is fine ?

Get coolant temp sensor checked.

Get the coolant pressure tested, its definitely leaking coolant. You will need to get the coolant running line.

Pressure test will help you to know from where exactly coolant/refrigerant is getting leaked.

Does a 96 toyota 3.4L have freeze plugs at the rear of the block, between engine block and flywheel. have a coolant leak on the pass. side, at the back, dripping down the outside of the bell housing

these trucks had external head gaskets leaking at the back of the heads on both banks and also the gaskets have been redesigned to correct this problem. there is also a coolant pipe that is under the intake and freeze plugs to.have not had any problems with freeze plugs but have with the head gaskets and the pipe......good luck and i hope that this was helpful and let me know if i could give you any more info........

Coolant leaking

Hello Kasalama :

Is it possible to wash off the engine while protecting the distribuutor and other electronics so we can start with a clean and dry engine ? . * Make sure that your radiator is full and that the Radiator/ Coolant overflow reservoir is at the proper level . * I would put a large piece of cardboard on the floor and along with a bright flash light or shop light use it to guide you where the leak s coming from .

If that is not helpful , I would perform a pressure check on the cooling system . The pressure check can be performed as a diagnostic tool . Put the truck in park and apply the parking brake . Attach the pressure diapham and Start the engine . You will have to manually pump it to a specified pressure as indicated on the gauge/ manometer .

The pressure diaphram usally attaches where the " radiator cap " is . Applying pressure can show leaking hoses, pipes and leaks in the radiator or fittings .

Be mindful that you can also have a leaking Intake manifold Gasket .

I hope that this info has been of help to you .

Antifreeze leaking out of right side of engine but only when heater is turned on. doesnt leak otherwise, what could this be

Have a look for a heater control valve that may be leaking in area near firewall on passenger side, just follow your heater hoses.

94' toyota 4runner rear differential seal

1st, check to see ifthe vent is plugged on the Differental????? This will make the oil to come out when the oil heats up amd makes gases & pressure. The gases & pressure has to go somewhere!!!! Did the person put a new Crush sleeve, to take the slack out of the pinion, which will makes to pinion move from side to side. Replacing it is no problem. Just time! Gear oil, Seal, Gasket, & Crush sleeve. Place everything on the ground in the order that you take it off. Also check upper & lower bearing & races to see if they need to be replaced. This will also make slack, which will mess up your seal, and star leaking again. Good luck, and take your time.
