That noise is play between the lifters and the push rods inside the valve cover.It is common in alot of engines to make that noise when cold.After the engine warms up the rods and lifters metal expands from heat and disappears also caused by oil taking longer to lubricate in between.Running a lighter oil like 5w30 in the winter compared to 10w30 can signifigantly reduse the noise as well.Most of them can be adjusted with feeler gauges and some are automatically set by hydraulics.Hope this helps, its not very serious, just more annoying to listen to lol

For 1995 Chevrolet Cavalier 2.2L SFI OHV 4cyl the Crankshaft Position Sensor is located under hood, passenger side, rear engine area, mounted on engine under intake manifold (click over pic for zoom)....
