The p/s pump is behind the passenger side of the engine below the heater hoses you will need a long trans. funnel to add fluid..

Power steering fluid where is it located, to put fluid in?

You probably have a V-8 engine, which on most GM products means that, as you're looking at the engine from the front of the vehicle, the power steering pump/reservoir would be to your right. It should have a cap that looks something like this:4010-07017180-1061739.jpg

If the dipstick (which is part of the cap) reads low, add power steering slowly until the level is correct. Then start the engine ad check the level again.

I need to check my power steering fluid and cant figure out where it is located.

power steering fluid is located closest to the drivers seating part of the engine. as a matter of fact, every other fluids in the car is housed in a larger container engine oils, antifreeze, water wipers, transmission all of which are located away from drivers seating area of the engine. Open the engine of car, take some time to observe that each comparment chamber have written demarkations of type of fluid intakes.

The power steering isn't working. The reservoir was empty and I added power steering fluid and it still very hard to steer

YOU HAVE A RUPTURE PRESSURE LINE IF YOU HAVE NO POWER STEERING FLUID IN THE POWER STEERING RESERVOIR.LOCATE LEAK THEN BLEED POWER STEERING SYSTEM BY ADDING POWER STEERING TO RESERVOIR.DONT OVER FILL BY FULL COLD MARK ON POWER STEERING DIP STICK.ADD FLUID TO RESERVOIR WAIT A 2 MINUTES.CHECK FLUID LEVEL AGAIN.WHEN POWER STEERING FLUID LEVEL STOP DROPPING.START ENGINE LET IT RUN FOR 10 SECONDS.THEN TURN OFF ENGINE CHECK POWER STEERING FLUID ADD FLUID IF FLUID LEVEL DROPS. WHEN FLUID LEVEL STOP DROPPING.SAFELY RAISE SUPPORT VECHICLE FRONT WHEELS.START ENGINE.NOW TURN STEERING WHEEL GENTLY FROM STOP TO STOP MEANING LEFT TO RIGHT DONT HOLD IN POSITION.LET THE STOP TO STOP BE QUICK.CHECK POWER STEERING FLUID AFTER YOU HAVE TURN STEERING WHEEL ABOUT 7 STOP TO STOP.WHEN FLUID LEVEL STOP DROPPING YOU AT HOT MARK ON DIP STICK BLEEDING PROCESS COMPLETE.TURN OFF ENGINE LOWER VECHICLE BACK TO GROUND WAIT ABOUT 5 MINUTES CHECK YOUR FLUID LEVEL.IF FLUID LOOKS LIKE A TAN COLOR.YOUR POWER STEERING SYSTEM FULL OF AIR.TURN OFF VECHICLE LET VECHICLE SET A LONG WHILE TO AIR BUBBLES SETTLE DOWN LOOK FOR LEAKS AROUND POWER STEERING PUMP FRONT SEAL AND CHECK FOR LEAKS AROUND POWER STEERING LINES.

Where do i put the power steering fluid in at ?

Well, it goes in the power steering pump, but I presume that you knew that. If you cannot find it look at the firewall area on the passenger side of the vehicle. The pump is really buried behind engine in that area. It takes a funnel to get fluid in....

Power steering fluid leak somewhere behind right front tire, but can't locate the source.

Add power steering fluid, have some one start engine, and turn wheel as far as it will go, that will put pressure on power steering pump, now you can look for the leak, while it's under pressure, good luck.Hope this was very helpful.

Location of the brake fluid input

the brake fluid resivoir is above the master cylinder on the firewall. so on the left side near the windshield. the power steering resivoir is closer to the front end and is distinguished by not being connected to the master cylinder..

Power steering - 1989 toyota celica

looking at the engine from the front of the car the power steering fluid is located on the left hand side and has a black plastic screw-cap about 3inches in diameter open that and pour in fluid. be sure to watch the level markers on the side so you dont overfill. also if you need to keep topping up powersteering fluid you have a leak and should get it fixed asap.
