Question about 1996 Volvo 850
Would be, that it is turbo seals. But the Volvo's PCV valve becomes
clogged and creates crankcase compression. Before you remove the
turbo, pull the dipstick out while the engine is running to see if you
have some smoke coming out there.
If that checks out possitive... look into replacing the PCV valve. Also check the EGR and air filter.
