Check your fuse to see if bad. Check conection of electric wire that connects to compressor. Hope this might help.

No power to ac compressor

If there is no refrigerant in the system, the safety switch will not provide power to the compressor clutch. CHECK YOUR REFRIGERANT LEVEL, repair any leaks, evacuate and recharge the system, making sure to use proper refrigerant and refrigerant oil.

2007 Mitsubishi eclipse spider What is the p.s.I. suppose. To be on air condition I know it takes 19 oz. Of freon tried. To put a can of freon in and it won't take it

it won't take anything if the a/c clutch isn't engaging could have a deeper problem with system relays , clogged filter , evaporator , condenser ect should get system checked out

Ac will blow warm air, the clutch does not engage. Could this be a compressor prob? Looked in the manual ...no trouble shooting ideas

Since you know that the clutch must engage in order for the compressor to operate, then there are most likely one of causes. The first is low or no freon in the system. The a/c system has a pressure sensor mounted in the low( return) side hose that prevents the clutch to engage if the freon is too low. The second would be the a/c fuse or relay faulty, preventing the clutch solenoid( a 12 volt electrically operated solenoid) from engaging. And the third would be that the clutch itself is bad because the solenoid wiring has broken. I suggest that first you locate the a/c clutch relay in the relay panel, remove the relay, carefully remove the plastic cover from the relay and reinstall the relay. The clutch should engage the compressor when you manually close the relay contact with your finger for one or two seconds. If the clutch does engage, your electrical circuit in ok and you are probably low on freon. A half of a can of r-134 in more that enough to operate the pressure switch. If it doesn't engage, check the a/c fuse or the clutch solenoid itself. Get back to me and let me know how things went. Dano

I replaced the broken condensor fan on my 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder GT V-6, and now the A/C compressor clutch spins but the hose are not getting cold. Is it not engaging? Or maybe just low on...

If the center of the pulley is turning and its not getting cold it is not the clutch....this could be because of low freon but a few other things as well

1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder A/C Only Blows Hot Air

I would take it back to whoever replaced the module however, if you want to check for the problem yourself, Look for the AC compressor. with the AC turned off have someone start the vehicle, while watching the AC compressor have the person in the vehicle turn the AC on. If the clutch engages then you have lost your freon charge and need to have the AC unit serviced. If it does not start turn the engine off and check all the wiring connections going to the AC compressor. If all the connections are good start the vehicle, and have the person in the vehicle turn the control to cold and turn on the defroster. If the AC clutch engages then you have a bad ECM module or mis-programmed ECM take it back to be Properly programmed and repaired. If the clutch does not engage it is possible the AC compressor is bad. Take the vehicle to the Mechanic to have teh AC system checked to see why it is not engaging.

2001 Mitsubishi eclipse wont start

you don't hit the alternator, you hit the starter to help is shake free because it is already going bad. take battery and alternator to parts store and have both tested. check the wires at the starter and make sure they are on SECURELY. very important SOLID CONTACT is occurring. do your lights turn on? check starter relay if the eclipse is equipped with one.
