1994 Ford E350 transmission seems like it slips at 45-55 MPH.

I have 1994 Ford E350 15 Passenger Van. I had transmission rebuilt because it seemed to be slipping. Took it back to same shop. They said it also had bad speed sensor and wiring which they replaced free of charge. 1000 miles later problem is back. What is the next fix to try?

There are several things that could be causing a trans like yours to slip, but rather than do an armchair repair, I'd reccomend taking it back to the shop who did the repair, they know your truck, and have the diagnostic equipment to tell just what is going on. I give this advice having owned a shop for a long time. I would want to fix the trans I rebuilt, not have someone else mess with it, then get it back. I assume (hope) you had it done at a real shop that offers a guarantee, if not, or you don't trust the shop, you could have another shop check it out, but it will cost you. I'm putting this as a clarification, it is not a fix, but advice in dealing with your shop, and your $, hope it helps.

If you went 1k miles since that same issue occurred I would look at the transmission. A faulty torque converter, clogged fuel filter, or a clogged CAT can cause a delay in the shifting but it would happen right away not 1k miles later.

1994 ford explorer eddie

the transmission is loseing internal fluid pressure, its time for a rebuilt transmission. The A4ld that your explorer has is prone to trouble in this area. A good rebuilt transmission may cost at least $1700 dollars.

I would take it back to the rebuilder. Perhaps it just requires adjustmnet.
