Question about Dodge B Series Cargo

1 Answer

We have a 1993 Dodge Ram B250. We were driving on the interstate at 70 MPH when our vehicle just stopped. It will turn over but not start. We have since replaced the coil, the crankshaft sensors and the fuel filter on the rail. We are now getting fire to the distributor and when we use starting fluid it will start for a few seconds. Is there anything else it could be besides the fuel pump.

Hi! Have you checked the injectors? They may be clogged thats why it wont start. You may need to replace this for its old anyways. You may need to check on the MAF (mass air flow) sensor too. It may be faulty resulting to no start at all. It must have air and fuel, since you have no air coming it will result to no start. MAF replacement will be a great idea. HOpe this helps and have a good one!

My 1993 dodge ram B250 wagon is showing signs of a bad fuel pump but mechanic says fuel pump is fine. Wants me to buy a new PCM (which we just did a month ago for a previous problem). The van was running...

one thing to look for is your gas gauge. if it doesnt read or your wagon constantly stops then i would go with the fuel pump. replace the pump and replace the fuel line any water in that line would be bad.

My 98'Ram, 160K., locked up when I lost oil pressure. It was fine when I started on my trip,I was cruising along at about 65/70 MPH for 40 miles when she started bucking. Checked gauges, oil pressure @ 0,...

Hi Bobby,
Its a known fact that Chrysler built engines have weak oil pumps in their engines,If you check out the questions under Dodge ,Chry,Ply,Jeep, There are so many Questions of oil lights flickering at stop lights at an Idle,But if your oil level was full it should have maintained enough pressure not to seize up on you,But you should have heard the top of the engine tapping indicating the oil pressure was not reaching the rocker arm first.

Speedometer not working on 2002 dodge ram 1500

Removed cluster from dashboard and unplugged & turned the whole cluster clockwise very slowly and needle started moving from 150 mph back down to 0 mph when rotation was completely done. Kept cluster upright while re-installing and plugged back in the plugs on back and everything was fine. Called local Dodge dealer and told me would take 30-45 minutes to reset and would cost approximately $70 to fix. Took about 8-10 minutes of my time and saved myself $70. This may not work for everyone but this was my amazing quick fix thanks to GOD for giving me this thought to try this.

1999 Dodge Ram van 1500 no pick up power

I had a similiar problem on my 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 Conversion Van. It ended up being a partial collapse of the catalytic converter which didn't allow adequate exhaust. The problem only showed itself because I could not get over 55 mph going up a small hill.
