Other two options are a crank sensor and ignition module. If you have a way to check RPM you should have about 200 cranking. If no rpm then crank sensor is bad and this could be tested if you know how with a digital meter. If you do have rpm most likely the ignition module or worse case scenero computer failed. If your extremly lucky you just popped a PCM or IGN fuse

99 Honda crv I'm driving the car just dies doin any speed pull off rd try to start it it takes awhile but dies again scary any answers

Check fuel pressure, check engine codes, check for spark when it is dead. Spark related might be distributor or cap or rotor. Check codes for free at autozone unless you buy a obd2 scanner from them.

Engine died while driving, no spark, replaced coil, now starts, idles, runs well at low rpm, but misfires when accelerating. No check engine costs thrown. What should I check next.

Change your ignition module. The distributor is a weak point of the Honda, I will always change out the whole thing than just try the coil.

2000 Honda CRV won't start, turns over, no spark

Do you have a spark at the coil? Try pulling off the cable, and with somebody inside to crank the engine, check to see if there is a spark jumping from the center high-voltage terminal. If you have no spark, you may have a bad coil or bad electronic ignition module.

The best i can say is check to be sure the distributor is turning.I am assuming that when you say you replaced the distributor that indeed you replaced the entire thing.(not just cap) Take cap off turn engine over and have someone watch to be sure rotor is turning. IF you haven't already check for voltage (12) going to coil .

My honda died on me while I was driving.I got it towed to my home, after droppihg the car in my driveway I got in the car and started as if there is nothing wrong with it.what could cause this.could it be a...

The most common reason for this would be a bad distributor or coil, the distributor contains modules and other components, depending on the type of the distributor the coil may also be part of it, i would star by running the engine until it dies and then check it for spark, if theres no spark then i would start with a coil and then if that doesnt help i would replace the dist, note; make sure to replace the distributor cap and rotor also, with coil first, then replace the dist if the car still dies out. good day.
