It can be the thermostat,or not enough coolant,or air in the cooling system,or a coolant sensor that is bad,or a cooling fan relay.

'96 Nissan Quest starts overheating as soon as the car turns on and warms up. Coolant level is at max.

Trouble shoot the radiator fans. Check the fan fuses under the hood in the electrical box. there are also relays for them. look in the hand book for detail on which is which. Could be the fan motor itself. Try jumping 12 volts direct to the fan - unplug from wiring harness..

2002 Mazda Milenia. Coolant level ok. In heavy traffic or at idle it runs on the hot side. Also my AC stops cooling

Troubleshoot your radiator fans. Could be the main one failed. The AC booster would have a hard time keeping engine and AC cool for more than a few mins.
Check the under hood electrical box. Fuse, relay. Possible the fan motor itself. Unplug it at the wire connector and jump 12 volts to it. No go, replace fan motor.

The moter fans dont work and my car is over heating

these electric fans are actuated by a sensor that is usually located low on the side of the radiator. Jumping the connector contacts (2 wire) or grounding (one wire) should trigger the fan in most cases. Jump wire power to the fan to test if volt/ohm meter is not available..

I have a 93 jetta with the 2.0l engine. Engine heats up when at idle with the a/c on. Auxiliary cooling fan is not working at all. Where is a good place to buy the auxiliary fan? Or is there anything else...

Check the fuse to the radiator fan and the relay's. Also check the wire harness and connections to the electric fan. Most of the time it's going to be a bad relay or corroded wire harness which is cheaper then the fan unit it self. Recap: check the fuses and relay and also check the wire harness at the fan to make sure there is 12 Volts to the power wire to the fans. Easy way to do this runt he engine and turn the A/C on hi and check radiator fan wire harness for 12 volts. If there is no power then work your way back to the relay, change the relay if the fuse is good. Good luck and keep me posted, be glad to help

2001 Jeep Cherokee Laredo- electrical fan

Have you tested the fan, use a set of clip leads and supply 12 volts of battery power to the fan to see if it runs, another test is to disconnect the engine coolant temp fan switch, this sends the system into default and the fan will run.
