1996 Merc Villager has no power

Gas got low, put 2 gal. in, now when I push on the gas hardly anything happens. I have to pump peddle just to get anywhere. If I feather it just right, I can get up to 45mph but if I press any harder, nothign happens. Changed fuel filter already & had tune-up a month ago. It was running great until the gas got low the other day. Pep Boys checked Codes, they are: P-0171 & P-0325

Disconnect battery for two minutes
If issues do not go away, you will need professional help
Other than running out of gas and setting codes, none of your previous work,is related.
If you still have issues related to these codes, and not to running out of gas, your list of items could be really long. So I couldn't possibly give a two hour semminar here.

Need a 1996 1500 chevy 305 EXPERT!!!! ONLY!!!

Take an analog ohmmeter, remove connector from TP sensor, and touch probes on terminals of sensor, try combination of 2 until you see reading increase as gas pedal pushed & decrease as pedal released by someone, while engine off, and key off.. Have them slowly, & gradually push pedal, as you watch meter. Reading should increase slowly & gradually as well. If you see it climbing, then quickly drop off, then jump back up, it's faulty. Try to concentrate more on the position of gas pedal where you experience the engine cutting out. Costs nothing to try it.

Fuel not flowing as it should. 86 Corolla

Check the fuel pump pressure using a fuel pump pressure guage. It would not necessarily be unheard of to have a new, but bad, fuel pump. No or low pressure, then take the pump back and get another one.

1996 Mercury Villager with idle problems

does your villager have check engine light on? If you do I suggest to buy a "Actron Scanner" you can get that cheap online. If you have the OBD code you can research more detail.
My 98 villager usually stops running when it was very cold. After I changed sparks plugs and radiator flush it doing better. How is the temperature meeter? If it is very low always, change the thermostat.
