Question about 2005 Pontiac Grand Am

Charged a/c system no leaks compressor would not kick on held 30 minute vaccuum checked for leaks replaced condensor due to hitting a coon could not find low pressure switch to jump to kick compressor on

    cant find the low pressure switch isnt on the accumaltor/ reciever dryer where is the low pressure switch located? only switch i found was on a line on top side of condensor has 3 wires going to it is that it? usually a low pressure switch has two wires if so which wires do i jump?

    raccoon. are u saying to pull a vaccuum on the high side to pull the freon through the compressor? ive already held a 30 min vaccuum on it before i charged it compressor never did kick on i never did get the picture of the switch so it is the one on the condensor line?

    this AC compressor is what they call a variable displacement compressor, they are very hard to get charged, did my buick which uses the same compressor a while back, have u tried heating the cans of refrigerant in hot tap water, that is what finally did the trick and the compressor kicked on, it raises the pressure enough in the can to get more in.

    here is a picture of the switch, it is in the high side line, yes high side, have fun trying to jump it, uses tiny pins, I suggest you pull a vacuum on the system and then enough refrigerant will be sucked in to get the compressor to kick on.

Turn ac on with engine running check for power at the compressor if there isnt check for power at the low pressure switch if there is jump out the connection
the compressor should turn on the low pressure switch is usually located on the accumulator canister (SILVERY CANISTER) near the firewall.

    find the low pressure port then trace the line back to the firewall it should be located in that line
