Question about 2005 Chevrolet Impala
The hard part is getting to a couple of the plugs back near the firewall.
Trust me, take the time to remove the upper motor mounts.
Put a jack under the engine (with a piece of wood to protect the pan).
Remove one of the bolts from each of the upper engine mounts. The mounts are shaped like a Y and are attached to the radiator support.
Jack the engine up a little, and it should "roll" forward and give you room to get the back spark plugs. Make sure you brace the engine, in case the jack fails.
I highly recommend that you change the plug wires at the same time.
