Measure the nut on the fan hub.
Most likely 36mm wrench (36x .0395=1.422)

What are the bolts size for the thermostat housing for a 2004 Chrysler 300m

I don't know the size of the bolts but I felt it was a good idea to ensure you are asking about the bolt size and not the spanner or wrench size.

Typical bolt sizes for the retaining bolts of thermostat housings are 6x1 mm, 8x1.25 mm and 5/16" either UNC or UNF.
The wrench or spanner sizes are typically 10 mm, 12 or 13 mm or half inch respectively.

I haven't met many other sizes for that job...

Size caliper bolts

It will be metric . The trick is Asian metric use spanner sizes 10-12-14-17-19-21mm while European metric use 11-13-15-18-20 and so on Unless you have a full range of spanners the one you want will be the odd size. 5/8 is around 18mm so try that

What tools do i need to change a inline fuel filter

If it is a plastic type, with rubber hose connections, then just a pair of pliers to remove the squeeze clips.

Nowadays most EFI cars have a metal body fuel filter with a "banjo" connection at one end. For this you need a socket wrench or ring spanner the right size.

At the other end is probably a metal fuel line with a compression fitting nut on it, which may be very tight. Here you need a flare nut wrench, which is a ring spanner with a slot to allow it go around the fuel line. Using an open end spanner or adjustable spanner may round off the nut if it is tight.

How do you get fan blade loose from water pump on 1998 f-150 4.2 liter

I seem to recall it is a left hand thread. They make tools for removal.
The wrench I think is a 32 mm open end looking wrench and the part to hold the water pump is a spanner wrench that is hooked shape for holding the bolts. Not sure on the size, could be a 35 mm nut on there...

Spanner to grab and hold the water pump bolts.
sscullys_214.jpg

Saw 1 person used a piece of flat stock steel, drill the holes at the same place as the bolts on the water pump, and install longer bolts through the flat stock to hold the water pump. He used a thread finder to get the correct size, and length of the factory bolts. They are a metric thread pitch, I cannot recall what they are at the moment ( M6x 0.75 is ringing a bell, but I can only be 50% sure about that )

The flat stock was used in place of the spanner to hold the water pump, and that person just used a 14" pipe wrench to grab the nut on the fan.

Replacing water pump

Ok, so I just looked in my Jeep Cherokee Hayes manual, but it didn't say anything about a spanner wrench, but the Grand Cherokee could be different. Your best bet is to go to Autozone and tell them what you are doing. They have a free loan-a-tool service. You can leave a small deposit with them and borrow the tool, then you get the deposit back when you return it. Just take the manual with you to the store to show them what you need. Let me know if this help :)

Honda accord 1991 oil change

You are referring to the drain bolt on the oil pan? You can use a crescent wrench. I have a 92 and I can never remember what size the drain bolt is, so I always go under with my trusty adjustable crescent wrench. Let me know if u need more info.

2001 Dodge Ram 1500 Water Pump?

can we have a picture of fan/pump assembly?
if not, just fit the correct size of wrench on the bolts.
if you have adjustable wrench that could reach those bolts.
use socket wrenches, or close type wrench.

email me the picture. jyzomnix2@yahoo.com
