Question about 1997 Chevrolet Camaro

1 Answer

I need help before i take a sledge hammer to my car. I just JB Welded the seam on my radiator and have a hole in the bottom now. I put some liquid glass to seal the hole for a few days until I can get my new radiator. In the meantime I changed the oil and filter and put in new fan relay fuses. My fans still don't come on and now the car won't start at all. I took the battery to autozone so I know the battery isnt the issue. Any ideas on what the problem is

Do the basics , spark, fuel pressure and injector tests, somewhere you will find the problem, the cooling fan comes on at approx 220 degrees, if not the sensor might be bad, you put in a sealer into the cooling system, on an older system it can plug up more that a leak, do not get discouraged my friend , just take it one step at a time

I have a problem getting my rims off. I have chrome rims with key lug nuts. I left my car out in the weather for a year and now going to put back on the road but cannot get my lug nuts off. There was...

you can snap off the lugs and stems(worst case scenario). You plan on replacing rotors and calipers, so youll be in there anyway. I did this with my car and just replaced the stems and pressed them back in. If your going thru all this trouble to replace the other rusted parts u might as well change the stems. You really cant get liquid wrench in there. I used a socket a size too small, hammered on and wrenched off. Good luck

NO that Jb weld would fall off in less than a day. It get really hot and your best bet is to go to autozone and ask if they have a kit to replace holes on manifolds.

Get repair

You will need a bolt to fit into the small holes in the drum itself. then put them into the holes screw them in (2) needed and continue until it comes off. They are very stubborn sometimes. I have even had to use a mini sledge to hammer them off because of rust.
