Question about 1999 Dodge Durango

1999 Dodge Durango front shock squeaks badly.

I change my oil and brakes on my 1999 Dodge Durango. With that said is it difficult to change out the front shocks. I have one that squeaks alot. I've tried spraying WD40 in there with no results. I don't think the shock is bad since it moves normally when I do the push down test. Looking for directions on how to replace them.

I have a 1999 dodge durango and the enigne is squeaking, what would be the cause of this?

Many things can make an engine squeak. First you have to determine if it is in fact the engine, a belt or something driven by a belt. I would start by taking the belts off and briefly starting the engine. If it still squeaks you may have a major engine problem. If the squeak is gone you'll have to figure out if it's a belt or something driven by a belt.

either bad shocks or uneven wear pattern on the tires, rotate the tires and see if the problem is better.

1999 Dodge Durango. Brake Light and the ABS Light

If you backup lights are not working as well, I would say check the fuse for the backup lights, if the fuse is good, see if you are getting power to that fuse. We had this problem and after weeks of searching and changing sensors, we found the backup light fuse was good, but not getting power. Ran a wire from that fuse to the cig. lighter fuse and all woprksf great.

Squeaking brakes

I recommend that you have the rotors reconditioned. The rotots are probably glazed from the old pads. Hope this helps.
