Question about 2001 Chrysler Sebring
Starter is under the hood 100% there! u will not be able to see it from the top! it locates (if its V6 2.7L) on the front of engine, under the hood u will see exhaust pipe with a sensor closer to the radiator. to replace it u need to lift car and start from the bottom, take off "Y" shaped pipe, from the top cover of the exhaust pipes and u will see what to do then. ( it took me to change starter about 3 hours) but u can do it in 2 hours.

Some of the Sebrings have two filters(one is called a sock). The sock(which all sebrings have) is located in the fuel tank itself on the pump module. If this model is the JXI then the external filter is located on the belly of the car between the tank and drivers rear seat. I hope I could help!!!

If you look at the hose coming off of the topm of the radiator, it should connect to a neck that is covering your tstat, probably two bolts to remove and you may have to tap it to loosen it after taking bolts out.You will probably lose some antifreeze when you do this so make sure your in an area where you can wipe up any spilled coolant.

Could be a bad oil pressure switch, or a bad oil pump. Both will cause this issue. Hope it is the switch b/c the oil pump is a costly repair.
