Hi! There's no problem on your injectors but you definitely have problem with the MAF (mass air flow) sensor. Since it hesitates to go, it should be it. It has big contribution on engine performance specially on idling. You will need to have it replaced. Hope this helps and have a good one!

The black smoke can cause this, just had a customer lately and replaced the MAF. Black smoke all gone, no more stalling. Just better running.

You can buy it online, just type your vehicle and torque converter on the search engine and it will give you online shops that accepts orders. Mostly auto supplies dont keep much torque converters so an online purchase will be better.

I have a 1987 suzuki samurai and have white smoke coming from exhaust looked on dipstik and see no signs of antifreeze was told that it could be the timing belt cover leaking that doesent make sense to me...

Are you losing coolant? If so then you could have a cracked head on the exhaust side and it is leaking coolant into the exhaust and being burnt.

How to adjust air fuel mixture on a 87 suzuki samuria

On any carburator, one screw is for the idle speed, the other the air/fuel mix.Start the engine and let it get plenty warmed up. Adjust the idle screw to make the engine run slow. Turn the air/fuel screw in until the engine starts to die then out till it starts running loady. You want the screw between these two locations. Adjust it till the engine runs the fastest. Now adjust the idle speed screw to about 1000 RPM.
I hope this helps you.

Check if you are getting spark in your plugs. if there's a spark, check the fuel pressure.Your pump might not be delivering the required pressure and volume.
If there's no spark, check your ignition system components.

Check ECM (engine computer) located under glove box. Injector circuit output probably dead. Replace ECM. Go to Searchparts.com for best price.
