Break lights quit working

If shifter handle is loose(indicator not correct) check the under dash shifter cable holder bolts(loose?).

If the 3rd break light on the rear of cab works then check the panels where the bulbs snap into make sure there is no corrotion if so replace the panels you can get them at any auto parts for $20. to $40 each.

its B R A K E lights...... replace ALL brake light bulbs at one time..DO NOT try any of them until you have finished ALL of them...your b r a k e light switch may be bad...

yOU WILL HAVE TO PLACE THE sWITCH IN THE STEARING COLUME IT COST ABOUT 90 DOLLARS.

Have you checked the breaklight switch under the dash? It works off the break peddel arm it could be bad or out of ajustment.

check the fuses and the connections behind the fuses

have you tried replacing the bulb

check the STOP- HAZ fuse with a 12 volt test ( both ends )

you need to check the brake light switch, which is located under the dash, just above the brake pedal rod.. when you step on the brake pedal there is a spring loaded switch just above it that is allowed to expand, thus making an electrical connection and energizing the brake lights.
