Did you have the Flywheel and Clutch Assy -Balanced ,(that would be a no),and may be your issue.

Now try and find someone to believe that or a shop doing balancing.

May have to take your parts to a race shop or driveshaft rebuilder

How to install a clutch

Basic . remove drive shaft. remove rear engine mount after supporting gear box on mobile jack and engine ,with blocks under sump undo gear box bolts and if the starter motor is involved . remove the terminal from the battery first. undo the slave cylinder of the bell housing / cable if applicable. pull the gear box to the rear . remove the pressure plate bolts by going around the plate a little at a time . Lift the pressure plat away and catch the clutch plate as it falls out. Make sure that you see the way the clutch plate goes in as if you install the new one incorrectly you will be pulling the box again. check the spigot bearing / bush in the rear of the crank shaft and if faulty or worn replace it . check flywheel face and if you want a good job then have it re-machined to flat again . Follow tensioning procedures when replacing the flywheel. put the clutch plate in position and use a clutch aligning tool to ensure that it is centred. AT this point if the plate is in correctly you should be able to hold it against the flywheel and turn it freely without the hub hitting on the fly wheel bolts. fit the new pressure plate and do the bolts up in the correct manner to the tension specs. . Replace the throw out bearing on to the housing in the throw out fork. Remove the clutch aligning tool ( tap with hammer if it appears jammed ) refit the gear box and associated items in reverse order of removal.

My land rover defender steering wheel starts to shake and wobble at about 80-90km/ph and gets worse. I have had the wheel balance and alinement done but it is still there. What other causes could cause...

This is really annoying, happens with most Defenders, but is easily fixed. It is the steering damper. They are never strong enough. Best solution is to fit an additional damper onto the track rod. Remove the track rod protection bracket from under the rear of the front diff, fit a heavier track rod and mount an additional damper on the track rod. The other end of the damper is mounted on the rear of the diff (where the protection bracket was removed). Land Rover specialists such as MR Automotive in Brisbane will send you the required parts. You won't regret doing it!

How do i install a clutch on a 1990 laser?

You need to get a manual. Try the Haynes manual for your car. Try autozone; generally available for around $20. This is not the type of thing that can be covered here in enought detail to do you any good.
Basics are;
disconect the negative battery cable, set parking brake
locate the trans mounting bolts
get something to support the engine and something to support the trans
seperate the trans from the motor by removing the bolts. On transverse mounted engines you will probably have to pull the trans to get enough room to remove the clutch and you'll probably have to remove the 1/2 shaft axles (front wheel cars) or drive shaft (rear wheel drive cars)
If replacing the entire clutc assembly (pressure plate, flywheel, and clutch), loosen the pressure plate mounting bolts gradually working your way around the pressure plate. If only replacing the clutch then seperate the sperate the pressure plate from the flywheel and remobe. Align clutch with a clutch allignment tools and replace pressure plate. Torque bolts to spec. reconnect the trans to the motor. Few other things to think about. You should replace the throwout bearng when doing a clutch. Lube the clutch fork as directed without getting lub on the clutch face. Hopefully I have convinced yu to get a manual or you will be hating life if you take this on without it.

How do you replace a clutch on a kia sedona

remove the intercooler and air filter box. undo starter motor then disconnect all connections into gbox. (2 i think) remove both front wheels then dsconnect both drive shafts at the gbox. (just pull them out) undo the mount above the gbox then supprt with a jack. remove mount then undo the ring of bolts that join it to the engine. pull it over to one side as far as you can get it. this should give u enough room to remove the clutch. ring of bolts holding pressure plate to the flywheel. friction plate between the two. then remove the bearing from the shaft in the gbox. replace all 3 parts ensuring the new bearing is greased, and in the fork correctly. assemble in reverse order. before starting check you get all gears then start with the clutch depressed and slowly release incase the release bearing is stuck..
CAUTION. GBOX IS VERY HEAVY

Shaking steering above 60mph

First we need to know where is the shaking noise coming from?Is your car a 4X4?If noise comes from a driven wheel it can be the differential system or bearing also.Usually the speed you have specified is pointing to wheel alignment problem. Also can advice to go to a different tire shop and check wheel alignment again, also ask the mechanic to check the state of your wheels and tires. One of them may be damaged .

Vibration shudder at around 30km

Hey Pontiac,

There are two things, firstly get your front wheel rims put on a lathe machine to check for distortion, if not, then get the wheels balanced on a digital tyre balancer.

let me know if this works
