Question about 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix

Condensation in between rear light lenses and covers

I have a 2003 grand prix gt. I keep getting water in between the rear light lenses and covers. Do these separate from each other and is there a way of sealing to stop moisture from entering in the future.
Thank you.

Yes the glue gives up after a few years you will have to remove the entire lens to reglue, or replace the assembly

in the back of the trunk. there should be 2 or 3 plastic knobs that holds the assembly on. you might have to look under the carpet behind the lenses.

Rear Defroster Problem

1 st of all check all the fuses if all are good it may be the switch itself .......if you are referring to just the defroster ensure both connections are connected to th rear window if there are any breaks in the defroster lines as you will they sell a metal fill type repair kit not expensive and with the use of tape and this mixture you can easily repair the breaks in the defroster lines ........but first ck your fuses and connections maby determine with the use of a test light and check for power at both the switch and the rear wire connections for power to them otherwise it is most likely the switch

I you mean you want to change the bulb you should be able to access them through the trunk but if you mean you want to change the lense you will have to remove the rear seat then the package tray then the light.
