Question about 2002 Toyota Avalon

2002 Toyota (Avalon) 4dr Sedan driving lights went out. Switched

2002 Toyota (Avalon) 4dr Sedan driving lights went out while driving.. Switched to second set of head lights and then the dashboard lights went out. I also thought the turn signal lights went out for a while but came back on again while driving. The vehicle purchased used a week ago has only 43,000 miles registered on the odometer. The vehicle appears in excellent condition with no listed accident history.

I recommend having the battery and charging system checked out. Car fax is great but it will never beat a good technician.

un plug one of the light connectors and check for power and verify ground with a 12v test light tool (available for cheap at the part store.) if there is 12v present, and a ground when switched to low beam, remove the bulb, inspect the filament. you will likely find it just has two burnt light bulbs

Hi, you have to use a scanner and pull the code out that is causing the check engine light to come on. whatever code/codes you find are probably related to vsc light.

Take care
