My 2002 buick rendezvous makes like a rattleing noise when driving. When your turning the noise will go away. What could be the problem. Heres a link where you can hear the noise it makes. You got to listen closely because i was driving when i recorded it. http://www.zshare.net/video/757089662ec42890/ p.s. We put in a new torque converter a couple days ago and had to remove the whole front end.

the only thing i can suggest is recheck every thing u took loose. U missed something.

Look as a 35 year dealer trained technician i can say with all honesty that knowing what u did wrong to cause this noise is almost impossible over a computer terminal, i can't really hear the noise from the clip u provided so that is of no use, i suggest u have a shop test drive it, they will usually do this for free in hopes of getting the repair work

Really the sound is so bad, but I dont worried about new converter; the problem would be in the front end; some adjustments may be pending, if more relaxed than we should the belt, will also be necessary to revise it. Remember that two days ago have returned recently to move the vehicle and there are always additional adjustments.

Tell us news.

Check the front end adjust, and any belt loose.

What could it mean if I have a clicking noise coming from my console fuse box. It goes away after I turn the ignition off.

It sounds like it would be a relay, they are usually black or grey and square or rectangular in shape and will have 4-5 prongs when pulled out.

Hi. I own a 2004 Buick Rendezvous and I must say, it's the best car I've ever owned. Recently, like within the last 2 months I've had a groaning noise with every left turn. My husband filled...

he filled the PS fluid? it was low? If so it has a leak somewhere, usually the high pressure line. the rattle could be anything, have the front end and steering linkage checked. tie rods, sway bar links, ect.

I have a sound in my rear part of my buick rendezvous when I try to park and turn the wheel almost to maximun. What can be that.

Hello: If your truck is a all wheel drive it could be the rear differential making noise. You will have to troubleshoot it more. Try turning max either way in an open parking lot if you hear a humming from the rear you have a problem. Sometimes you can service it but it will only be a temp repair.

You probably have a wheel hub/bearing going bad. Thes usually have sensors in them that will cause this issue.

2002 buick rendezvous groans when turning

The fluid in the versa trak AWD in the rear is old and needs to be drained and refilled. After you drain and refill it, make a bunch of sharp left and right hand turns, then drive it for 10 minutes. Drain and refill it for the second time and problem solved. Use only versa trak fluid available at any GM dealership. There is TSB on this now at the Buick dealership.
