Question about 2001 Lincoln LS
Hi i'm hoping someone can tell me the cause of this problem i have 01 lincoln LS 3.9 V8 2 months a go i had a big misfire so i took it to the shop results were that the tensioner pulley to the valve train on the right side of the engine was bad so i got it fixed and now the problem is the chain to the same right valve train broke and that was 2 months later can someone tell me what could of went wrong.
Other than the chain breaking? I would recommend replacing all the chains while it is apart. Also all timing chain tensioners, tension arms & guides.
I don't have an answer to why, your specific parts, wore or broke.
